Miss Northern California Regional 2010
The Miss America Organization is one of the nation's leading achievement programs and the world's largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women. Last year, the Miss America Organization and its state and local organizations made available more than $45 million in cash and scholarship assistance.
My journey in the Miss America Organization began when I was 16 and competed for the title of Miss San Diego's Outstanding Teen 2008. When I was crowned, I never knew how much my life would change. As I prepared for the Miss California's Outstanding Teen competition, I learned how I could make a difference in other's lives. I adopted the platform of Breast Cancer Awareness. It was my first and only choice as a platform after losing my grandmother to breast cancer when I was 10 years old. Through appearances and preparation, I grew up a little each day not realizing I would continue my journey later on, as Miss Northern California Regional 2010.

Miss California Pageant 2010
This year at the Miss California Pageant, 56 young women competed for the crown and an opportunity of a lifetime to represent our beautiful state and vie for the title of Miss America. With four days of preliminary competition, we competed in the areas of interview, talent, evening gown, swimsuit, and on-stage question.
This year, I won a Preliminary Swimsuit Award on the first night of competition! :)
